Web Designer Central London £28,000 – £34,000
My client is one of Europe’s fastest growing online start ups having launched in 2007 and is based in the heart of the City of London. As part of their continued growth they now have a unique opportunity for a Web Designer to join the team.
Reporting into the Head of Product you would be responsible for taking the lead on the development of all in-house design projects, whilst acting as a brand ambassador across multiple channels – email, desktop, mobile, print and other promotional material.
As the successful Web Designer your duties would include;
• Creating specific layout graphics and interface designs for their website, mobile and iPhone application • Creating graphics for their partner sites, both offline and online designs • Participating in the usability testing before product launch and release • Taking ownership for and developing their brand guidelines • Manipulating and editing photography
In order to be considered for this excellent opportunity you should demonstrate the following skills;
• Previous exposure to designing within the e-commerce domain, with mobile and app experience highly beneficial • Excellent knowledge of Photoshop, Fireworks, Illustrator and Flash • Strong knowledge of HTML and CSS • Awareness and understanding of UX best practices • Good communication skills and well organised, capable of managing multiple projects concurrently
